ok everyone, this is my first time preparing a thanksgiving dinner, and i would just like to get tips on what type of seasoning to use for the turkey, i have no idea and i also don't know how much seasoning to use, any advice would help, thanks ok, someone told me to use fajita seasoning and someone else told me to use poultry seasoning, but didn't specify on how much of it to use
Answer:I just sprinkle it all over and rub it in. I'd guess a few tablespoons. People will disagree, but I don't think the external flavoring really changes the turkey much unless it's marinated. Personally, I prefer a handful of fresh herbs and some garlic and onions inside the bird for flavor.
Answer:It's pretty healthy, but you should focus on the white meat. As far as cooking it, if you cook it as a whole, make sure you bast it every half hour or so and when it's done, let it sit for 15 minutes, carve it, and pour the juices from cooking over the top to make it a little more moist. Answer:No. Every year we get a fresh turkey from the farm, and the cooking time is the same. Just follow the instructions by how much the turkey weighs and cooking time, and everything should be fine.
I was wondering what the difference between: turkey bologna, turkey ham and turkey salami is. When I go to Subway it has the 6 inch cold cut combo available with any of those meats.. Is there pork in any of these?
