  • Malaysia?????????????
Whenever I log on to my account its says at the top YAHOO ANSWERS MALAYSIA. Why does it keep on saying that? Then I click on my country which is Canada but the next time I log on it says Malaysia again. I never chose Malaysia to be my country.
Answer:Hi Larry, There are several reasons to that: 1) Click on "My Account" at the top of the page (Next to "Sign Out"). Scroll down to "Member Information" > "Preferred Content" > and make sure it states Yahoo! Canada. or 2) Perhaps you first signed up for a Answers account using Yahoo! Malaysia, that will then 'lock' you to Yahoo! Malaysia Answers. I think the possibility could be (1), so why don't you give that a try first :) If it doesn't work, do contact the Customer Service in Canada. All the best!

  • How come Malaysia which eliminated English as an official language is richer than Philippines?
Philippines still uses English as an official language but is much poorer than Malaysia which eliminated it. And many Filipinos still justify that English makes them have an advantage when it does not give them any advantage whatsoever. To say that Filipinos are favored in US or Canada as maids is an insult because if the Philippines was rich they wouldnt have to work overseas in the first place, and secondly there is nothing proud in being a domestic helper or maid that is the lowest of low jobs.
Answer:The Filipinos justify that English is an advantage but fluency on English language doesn't mean that they will be better than other nationalities or expected to be richer compare to non speaking English country it doesn't work that way you have to understand how the economy works then you will find the answer. The justification of the Filipinos for having an advantage is referring to the opportunity to work outside the country. A communication tools to speak & understand the English language that will help them for a greener pasture and capacity to find a job related to their skills or professions the currency conversion will give them an advantage in terms of monetary gain . This is an individual endeavour means the micro that can be turn into macro.

  • How can i get the immegration of Malaysia or open work permit?
I am ANIS AHMAD from Pakistan. I have don my graduation in commerce. I like to live and work in Malaysia. Any one can guide me how can i get the permanent residency in Malaysia or work permite to work in Malaysia.
Answer:Forget about getting Malaysian permanent residency for the time being, it's not that easy. Sorry to say, i think it would be a little difficult for you to secure a job related to your studies if you want to come here as a professional. Most Malaysian companies only employ foreigners if they are skill in specific fields like engineering, nursing, technicians etc but for someone with a degree with a commerce, i would say it is a little difficult to secure a job here. Anyway, difficult doesn't mean impossible, you may try to look for a company that wants to hire you. Once you are hired, the company will apply working permit for you. On this working permit, you don't have to worry because you just need to get your passport ready, a medical checkup report, copy of your degree and other relevant documents and a few photo of yours. At the moment almost all the Pakistani who are working in Malaysia enter Malaysia with a working permit as "unskilled workers". I don't think this is suitable in terms of nature of work and salary. Anyway if you want to go through this channel, it's easy, just go to any employment agency in Pakistan that send workers to Malaysia. They'll will find the employer for you, you don't have to go searching yourself. You may also ask them if they have any employer that wants to employ professional, if yes that it would be very easy for you. However the probably charge you a very high fee.
