  • How is the catastrophe in Haiti going to effect the economy?
How is the catastrophe in Haiti going to effect the economy? In America? Worldwide? Will Haiti's devastation spread to nations helping it by using resources to help Haiti that could of been used to help their own nations economy?
Answer:The U.S. will really feel no effect on their economy, poor countries without resources cannot hhelp and the others will be minimal, and i fear the help will only feed, and maybe supply some housing, leaving these people destitute for any kind of economy. look for these people to refuge to other countries, notably U.S.

  • How do you start a fundraiser for Haiti?
I want to start a fundraiser for Haiti. Except I don't know what to do, and how to start it. I think that if people know that this is a fundraiser for Haiti, they'll most likely donate and hopefully we'll get a lot of money to support Haiti. Anyways, what are some really creative ideas for a fundraiser?
Answer:First, you need to make sure you can guarantee to people that the money raised will, for sure, get to Haiti. So do your research, find a chapter of an organization you'd like to send the money to, and make sure you have that contact information handy. One good fundraiser I recommend is a company called DoodlyCouch (www.DoodlyCouch.com). They offer a series of journals where, instead of writing every day, you draw out your feelings. They're pretty cool, and the company has one for all sorts of different stages of life, so you can sell them very easily to almost anyone. The company requires no up-front investment, so all you do is go out and takeorders, collect money and send it in, and the company delivers all your orders for you via mail and then sends your profit check to you. You/ your group gets 25% of the price of each book you sell, so profits can add up much more quickly than with some other fundraisers. Best of luck!

  • How did the international community conspire against Haiti since its inception?
why did Europe and even the USA say to Haiti...we don't recognize you, we will isolate you, we will blockade you and guess what we want you to pay the French for the fact that you are no longer their property? Furthermore, how does the new concept of so called free trade and no tariffs act to foster hunger and poverty in Haiti?
Answer:The US is the only country that consistently sends money to Haiti even though logical people know it's a waste of money as long as rich tyrants are ruling that country. I'd rather if we fixed the country instead of always throwing billions of dollars into a bottomless pit that only lines the pockets of the rich socialist fat cats in charge, while the people continue to starve to death and live in total poverty.
