Mountains, lakes, forests, rivers, wonderful beaches. And all natural sights. (if u know Austria's artificial lakes you get what i mean) A trip to Greece can include trekking, hiking, biking, rafting, surfing, scuba-diving, fishing, swimming, sunbathing, entertaining urself- dancing in great nightclubs and beach-bars, (remember beach-bars! all day dancing and swimming and relaxing among pretty people in their bathing suits) flirting, relaxing in spa facilities or natural resorts, and of course eating and drinking the best quality food! The best thng here is food! Keep im mind to have enough money to dedicate for good food. It would be a shame to come here and eat fast-food, although even our local fast-food places rock! During the Ottoman Empire, many islands with agreement(firman)had many privileges because of their skills in navy, since the turks were not at those times a navy country..They also say it, because it is a true.. Greece is a country surrounded by the sea, and the best armateurs ship owners come from here.. It is mountainous in the continental part oif it, and the mentalities between continental Greece, and the islands are different, since the islands were more opened to the exterior world because of their sea activities.. Yes, the part c of your question may be true..But we also have the Ionian sea which had another culture, more influenced by the venetians and the genovese...

Answer:i think our greek friends would also agree that greece has a bad reputation of supporting separatists in neighbour countries. (come ooonn... do not try to oppose) we all know that Greece has supported terrorist organization pkk.. pkk had bases in greece, they were closed later but complaisance to illegal activities of pkk has been going on.. (although its reduced nowadays) also to haute: syria supported terrorists much more than greece.. they had more bases, terrorists were hitting and running back to syria just like syria is their home.. it went on like this until Turkey officially threatened to invade syria.. from the mouth of general of army.. ah those times.. syria had lots of problems with usa (more than today) so usa had promised not to interfere.. after threat, and some diplomatic contacts, syria closed all terrorist bases and even fought them.. its a shame that you dont know these again.. Greece thinks weak neighbours are better for them....[used to think/ uses to think :)] but i strongly believe that this mustn't be the way.....
I plan on going to Greece for my honeymoon, and was wondering what to expect during the first week of October. Is it warm enough to enjoy the beach? Anything else you can think of to expect about Greece during this time?
Answer:It depends really where u will go!! But usually places like Halkidiki and thessaloniki and also some of the islands are quite warm so i dont believe that u are going to have a problem.One of the best places that you can visit since you will go there for your honeymoon, which is really good is an island ,Santorini. Probably the most romantic place in greece with incredible sunsets!
My friend and I are planning on taking a trip to Europe in December the week before Christmas. The trip includes Spain and Greece, but I have read that Greece pretty much shuts down in the winter months. Is this true? Anything anybody could add or tips about a trip to Spain or Greece would be helpful.
Answer:personally I like it more in the winter because it doesn t have that much heat and so you can observe and explore it better without the thousands of tourists around you. plus, in athens it doesn t snow often so you won t have a problem with that and the winter weather I would say is quite mild. if you want to enjoy swimming in the sea and such stuff then that would a problem. if you re not interested in that type of vacations then I can tell you that greece is really very romantic and beautiful in the winter
