Answer:nefertiti's bust. she was thought to be the most beautiful woman of her time. this bust proves it. you can find more info below, but to this day, a museum in germany i think has the bust and won't let the cairo museum in egypt have it because it is one of their most popular pieces. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nefertiti nefertari's tomb. note that nefertiti and nefertari are different (besides being different people, they also lived in different time periods). this tomb is the most beautiful of all tombs in the valley of the queens burial site in egypt. it has been argued by some egyptologists that it should be one of the greatest wonders of the world. the link below will give you some more detailed info. oh, and "QV66" stands for nefertari's tomb number. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QV66 That's all I can think of for now. Have fun learning about Ancient Egypt, it's really worth it!! Have a nice day =)
im travelling from northern ireland. just wondering about the money situation. do i get egyptian currency before i go, bring english notes or american dollars? also, how much would you recommend for two weeks? are things expensive in egypt? thanks
Answer:Bring Sterling Pounds with you. The exchange rate in Egypt is much better for you than any elsewhere. Today the Sterling pound= 10.4 Egyptian pounds in Egypt. And sometimes it is higher and goes up to 10.7 Egyptian pounds. There are exchange offices everywhere in Egypt, also banks starting from the airport. Always carry different values of bills with you to pay for small things and for tipping. that is to say 5 and 10 Egyptian pounds bills. Do not forget to bring your credit card with you. There are ATM machines everywhere, that is in case you run short of money. Things are much less expensive in Egypt than in Europe. If you have booked an all inclusive stay, then you will have to pay for your drinks only. I can not tell how much you will need, since I do not know where are you staying and if you will buy optional tours while in Egypt to visit other places.
