    Answer:I loved Vienna, Salzburg, and the tyrol, OMG the tyrol is absolutely beautiful, green, tall mountains and these lakes and rivers thta come from the mountains, my mouth was agape riding through the tyrol, its truely breath taking, and I would HIGHLY suggest visiting the tyrol.... you won't regret it!

Austria is divided into 9 "Bundesländer" / states. Salzbourg, Tyrol, Vienna, Carinthia, Styria, Burgenland, Vorarlberg, Upper Austria and Lower Austria. So, yes it is all one country but just like the US it's separated into states.
