Can someone give me a summary of Argentina's revolution? It took place around 1810.. I just don't understand exactly what it was about/ what was going on and I have to do a report on this.
Answer:European explorers arrived in 1516. Spain established a permanent colony on the site of Buenos Aires in 1580; the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata was created in 1776. During the early part of this period it was largely a country of Spanish immigrants and their descendants, known as criollos, some of them gathered in the Buenos Aires and other cities, others living on the pampas as gauchos. Descendants of African slaves (See:Afro-Argentines) were present in significant numbers. Indigenous peoples inhabited much of the rest of Argentina. In 1806 and 1807 the British Empire launched two invasions to Buenos Aires, but the creole population repelled both attempts. On May 25, 1810, after confirmation of the rumors about the overthrow of King Ferdinand VII by Napoleon, citizens of Buenos Aires took advantage of the situation and created the First Government Junta (May Revolution). Formal independence from Spain was declared on July 9, 1816 in Tucumán. In 1817, General José de San Martín crossed the Andes to free Chile and Peru, thus eliminating the Spanish threat. Centralist and federalist groups (Spanish: Unitarios and Federales) were in conflict until national unity was established and the constitution promulgated in 1853. José Francisco de San Martín Matorras, also known as José de San Martín (25 February 1778 – 17 August 1850), was an Argentine general and the prime leader of the southern part of South America's successful struggle for independence from Spain.
argentina list the type of government and define it. who are Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and Ruy Diaz de Guzman? make the answer simple please.
Answer:Argentina's form of government is an anarcho-synchristic commune in which most decisions are made based upon a simple majority vote, however internal decisions require a two-thirds majority. Many people regard this as Argentina's tendency to hang on to an outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates economic and social differences in the society. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in the current president. Ruy Diaz de Guzman: conqueror of the tribes of the Rio Plata following his military campaign of 1992.
Does anyone know the most influential/important people to Argentina. i need the MOST of those so two or three would be great, and plz include a tiny summary about them. if u cant include the summary then its ok. THX
Answer:There are a lot of important argentinian people. Im argentinian so maybe for me some people are important only because I know a lot of them First at all, I think that Eva Perón was one of the most important because she indtroduce the female gender into the politic. Even when Domingo Perón (her husband and in that moment the argentinian president) said in public, no dear, you can not be the president. She keep trying and working for the poor population and women in all Argentina... Secondly, I think that Che Guevara was other important one. Im 14 years old and I live here in Australia for about two years so when I didnt have time in Argentina to learn about this man because the teachers teach us this thing in 8th or something like that The third one I think it is Maradona. The best argentinian soccer player EVER. I think you must heard about him. He was born in a very poor neighbourhood and he started playing soccer when he was 8 or 10. Then he moved to important neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires (Argentina's capital city) and he become an amateur player. The peolple started talking and knowing about him and after that there was no doubt that he will become the best argentinian soccer player ever. Anyway, not everything was glory for Maradona. In 2000, I think, he started using drugs and his overweight was puting him in danger. We thought that was the end of our Diego, but he started a diet and he quit using drugs and now he es much better and he is a very good friend of our other soccer star, Lionel Messi that is playing for Barcelona and he is 18 years old. I hope I helped you, I dont know anything else to say.... Sorry if my enlish is not good, you know is difficult to talk two languages at 14 years old haha well byebye
